You can easily recognize our tickets by their name, which tells you whether you can use them only on one specific train or on any Czech Railways train.

Flexi Ticket

  • Valid for one journey on any ČD train.
  • A basic Flexi Ticket can be purchased at any time for 2nd class or 1st class.
  • The price does not change and depends solely on the distance travelled.
  • It is necessary to commence the journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity. When purchasing in the ČD e-shop, the journey must be commenced no earlier than at the time specified on the ticket.
  • After travelling 100 km, it is possible to disembark from the train and to complete the journey aboard any train by midnight on the following day.
  • In Karta discounts are valid with Flexi Tickets.
  • They can be purchased up to 2 months prior to travel.

 Flexi Reduced Ticket

  • The same flexibility as a Flexi Ticket, but at a  reduced price.
  • Valid for one journey on any ČD train.
  • The earlier you purchase, the cheaper you’ll travel.
  • Available mainly for travel on longer journeys.
  • Can be purchased for 2nd class only.
  • After travelling 100 km, it is possible to disembark from the train and to complete the journey aboard any train by midnight on the following day.
  • Save even more when purchasing with your In Karta card.
  • They can be purchased up to 2 months prior to travel.

 Ticket with an Obligatory Train

  • The most inexpensive ticket possible  for the given route with the option to purchase up to 2 months in advance – the earlier you purchase, the cheaper you’ll travel.
  • Use of the ticket is linked a specific obligatory train.
  • After completing the journey on the obligatory train, it is possible to transfer to any other train.
  • In the event of a missed connection or a delay of the obligatory train of 30 minutes or more, a different connection can be used.
  • Can be purchased for 2nd class only.
  • Save even more when purchasing with your In Karta card.

Common advantages and rules for the new tickets

  • A 50% discount for children, students, ZTP cardholders and passengers over 65 years of age.
  • Tickets purchased online can be returned free of charge until 15 minutes prior to the train’s departure.
  • Tickets purchased in the ticket office can be returned within 15 minutes from the time of purchase or, if purchasing several days in advance, until midnight on the day preceding the departure date.
  • It is additionally necessary to procure a reservation if travelling on required-reservation trains.
  • We recommend procuring a reservation for all long-distance trains. When purchasing a ticket online, you will receive a reservation free of charge (except for SC Pendolino trains).
