Waiting Room for PassengersWaiting rooms are enclosed spaces of České dráhy that you can enter only with a valid travel document. They are generally open for a limited time; opening hours are always posted directly at the entrance to the waiting room. An overview of stations equipped with waiting rooms can be found in the list of stations, where their opening hours are also provided. Smoking is prohibited in waiting rooms, as it is on trains and other premises of České dráhy. You can bring all your luggage into the waiting room, except for bicycles. You can also bring a dog with a muzzle or other small animal enclosed in a carrier. ČD Lounge Waiting RoomSpecial ČD Lounge waiting rooms are intended for passengers with a valid travel document according to the ČD or TPPM tariff:
ČD Lounges are available at the railway stations Praha hl. n., Olomouc hl. n., Břeclav, and Brno hl. n. You can relax there peacefully before continuing your next train journey. In all ČD Lounge waiting rooms, your children can entertain themselves in the play areas we have set up for them. We also offer free internet access in ČD Lounge waiting rooms. Most ČD Lounges are dedicated to a significant personality associated with the railway or the region. In the ČD Lounge in Prague, we have prepared a computer for you, from which you can print on a black and white printer (CZK 3/page), or you can use it to connect to the internet. Come to the ČD Lounge to make your wait for the train more pleasant and learn something new. Waiting Room for Passengers with ChildrenAt selected stations, separate waiting rooms for passengers with children are available. These are accessible only to adults accompanying one or more children under 10 years of age. ČD Lounge waiting rooms, which are located in the most important stations, can also be used for waiting with children under 10 years of age.
