New offers to foreign destinations and new rules for group tickets
Overview of selected changes in international transport valid from 11 December 2016
- introduction of a direct connection from Prague via Linz to Zurich (a sleeper carriage, in the high season also a carriage with seats)
- expansion of the First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) offer to Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands and Switzerland
- effective 17 December 2016, introduction of advance sales of First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) tickets to Germany for selected trains at attractive prices for the period from 9 January until 14 February 2017
- option to return First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) tickets to Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia until 24:00 (midnight) on the day preceding the first day of validity with a service charge of 10%, but no less than EUR 10 (hitherto, these tickets could not be returned; the terms and conditions for First Minute Europe to Hungary, Poland and Slovenia remain unchanged)

- the discount for groups will now be granted to groups of six or more persons without exception only after ordering the journey on www.cd.cz/skupiny
- sales launched of the IN Důchodce (“IN Pensioner”) application as a replacement for paper discount cards
