Choose how to purchase your ticket. How about making purchases in our e-shop without waiting in the ticket office! Moreover, you’ll earn loyalty points for purchases in the e-shop, and you can even get a free seat reservation.

E-shop

What I can purchase: inland and certain international tickets and seat reservations, In Karta cards

How I will pay: with a payment card, using the MasterPass application, with a ČD Credit account, transport voucher, discount voucher

How I will get the ticket: ticket in PDF format that you can print out on your printer. You can also display the ticket in PDF format during an inspection on the train on your portable electronic device – e.g. on the screen of your laptop. You can also present the ticket to the conductor displayed on your mobile telephone in the form of a displayed PNG image with a QR code. In the case of inland tickets, instead of presenting a printed ticket you can also just communicate the transaction code, which you will find on the bottom right of the ticket, above the graphic code. If you enter your In Karta card number when purchasing an inland ticket in the e-shop, then it is sufficient to present just your In Karta card to the conductor during a ticket inspection on the train.

It is possible to purchase tickets from a conductor without a surcharge if you are travelling from a station where the ticket office was not open. Otherwise, it is necessary to also pay a handling surcharge of CZK 50. The handling surcharge is not paid by ZTP or ZTP/P cardholders, or at stations with an open ticket office.

It is possible to purchase tickets from a ticket vending machine on the train or from the train driver only on trains without a conductor with a so-called self-service ticketing method (marked with the eye symbol). Travel aboard these trains is similar to travel on municipal public transport systems, and it is only possible to board using the first doors. You can only board with a ticket purchased in advance, which you must validate immediately upon boarding using a ticket validation machine. You can also purchase tickets from the train driver or at a ticket vending machine located in selected carriages. In certain cases, the train driver can sell you a ticket only to a transfer station and you will have to purchase a ticket to your destination station from the conductor on the first connecting train. Tickets from the e-shop must be presented to the train driver for inspection immediately upon boarding the train.

Integrated transport system tickets

Within the regions of the Czech Republic, it is also possible to use the tickets of so-called integrated transport systems (IDS) for travel on our trains. Integrated transport system tickets are sold according to the terms and conditions of individual integrated transport systems (in ČD ticket offices, in the ticket offices of other carriers, from ticket vending machines, in the e-shops of other carriers, etc.).

On the telephone number (+420) 221 111 122, we will broker the purchase of tickets from our e-shop. The ticket will be sent to you by e-mail. The fee for this service is CZK 50.
