Conditions of the First Minute Europe Ticket to Hungary

The ticket can be purchased from any ČD NRT point (NRT = usually an express train station to which international sales can be made) in the form of ČD km zones to all MÁV-START and Gysev NRT points.

The First Minute Hungary ticket can be purchased up to 180 days before the departure date.

We offer tickets for both 1st and 2nd carriage class.

What you need to know

tickets are issued with a mandatory connection to a cross-border train between the Czech Republic and a neighboring country
the ticket is valid for 2 days, with the journey having to be commenced on the 1st day of validity
the price of a seat reservation is not included in the fare for trains running during the day, but we recommend purchasing a seat reservation
night trains between the Czech Republic and Hungary are mandatory with seat reservations for international travel and the reservation price is added to the ticket automatically
from the VJE ticket we provide discounts within the territory of the Czech Republic for children under 18 years of age, students under 26 years of age (with a Czech student ID or ISIC)
the ticket can be returned until 24:00 on the day preceding the day of validity for a fee of 3 EUR, later the deduction is 100%

Price list of the First Minute Europe Ticket to Hungary

Current prices and availability of the First Minute Europe offer for specific routes are available at the time of purchase (price inquiry) in the e-shop, at the ČD ticket counter with the issuance of international documents or at the ČD contact center on the telephone number 221 111 122.

When selling at the ticket counter, a service fee of 50 CZK is charged for each First Minute ticket purchased.

Prices of international tickets are fixed in euros and are converted to crowns according to the valid uniform railway exchange rate.

Otázky a odpovědi

Is it sufficient if I show the conductor a ticket purchased in the e-shop on my laptop screen?

Yes. A ticket can be presented as a document printed in A4 format in an unreduced size or displayed on a personal electronic device. It is not possible, however, to simply announce the transaction code, as is the case when travelling in the Czech Republic.

Can I purchase a ticket in a ticket office as well?

Yes. But First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) ticket purchases at the ticket counter are subject to a service charge of CZK 50 for each person.
