Conditions of the Discounted fare for pupils and students aged 18 to 26

Pupils and students aged 18 to 26 prove their entitlement to a 50% discount on the price of a Flexi ticket, Discounted Flexi ticket, Fixed ticket or Route ticket for 2nd class with a valid pupil ID, student ID or valid ISIC card. In the case of an extended validity of a plastic ISIC card, it is also necessary to have a valid ISIC revalidation sticker.

Pupil and student ID card

Pupil and student ID card forms can be purchased at the ticket counter for CZK 5. On this form:

• the pupil (legal guardian) or student will fill in: first name, surname, date of birth
• the school will fill in on the front: information on the duration of the school or academic year; on the back: name and registered office of the school, stamp and signature
• the carrier will add on the front: a hologram on pupil IDs, a station stamp and signature

Pupil and student ID cards can be issued to students of primary and secondary schools until 30 September of the following school year. For university students until the end of the current academic year (no later than 31 October). However, always no later than the day preceding the 26th birthday.

A completed form for CZK 50 at the ticket counter will be confirmed on the spot on presentation of an identity card issued by a state administration body and a photograph with straight or rounded corners measuring 35 x 45 mm, which shows the actual current appearance of the pupil and is not cut from another photograph.

Pupil, student or ISIC card on the In Karta

A valid pupil, student or ISIC card can be uploaded free of charge at the In Karta ticket counter. This allows you to present only the In Karta with the uploaded pupil, student or ISIC card when checking tickets on the train.

But beware, you must still have the original card with you.

Pricelist of the Discounted fare for pupils and students aged 18 to 26

The price of the Discounted fare for pupils aged 18 to 26 depends on the tariff distance and the chosen class of carriage. The tariff distance is determined for the actual transport route between railway stations according to the kilometers stated in the timetable of the railway operator and is at least 1 kilometer and a maximum of 600 kilometers.
