For trains with mandatory seat reservations, it is necessary to purchase a seat reservation with the ticket. We recommend purchasing a seat reservation for every long-distance train, when purchasing a ticket online you get a seat reservation for free (with the exception of trains/compartments with mandatory seat reservations).

You can use Fixed Tickets for journeys between selected cities. To get the best price for your journey, you no longer have to buy several separate tickets. Now you can buy a single ticket from your departure station to your destination station and we will automatically include in the price the prices of Discounted Flexi tickets or Fixed tickets that could be used along the route. Our e-shop, the My Train mobile application and ticket offices will always offer you the current best price for a ticket for your entire journey. You can also purchase a Discounted Flexi ticket or a Fixed ticket from the smallest stop.

The ticket cannot be used for intra-regional journeys by passenger trains (Os) and fast trains (Sp) in the Zlín, Pilsen, South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions.

Fixed Ticket Conditions

Fixed Tickets can only be purchased for 2nd class on selected routes as tickets bound to a specific train in all or part of the route, which is stated on the purchased ticket as a "mandatory train".
Fixed Tickets are sold as one-way only.
Discounts on Fixed Tickets are granted to holders of In Karta cards with IN 25 or IN 50 customer applications and also to all passengers entitled to a Discounted Fare.
The Fixed Ticket must be used on the train indicated on the ticket for the given section as mandatory. When used on another ČD train during the validity period of the ticket for a reason attributable to the passenger, the passenger will pay a surcharge to the price of a ticket not bound to a train. The surcharge when using another ČD train can be purchased in advance at the ticket counter or directly on the used train from the conductor (when boarding at a station with an open ticket office, a handling surcharge must be paid in addition to the surcharge from the conductor).
In the event of a delay of the mandatory train by 30 minutes or more, or its cancellation or other irregularity in transport, as a result of which it can be assumed that the arrival at the destination station indicated on the ticket will be 60 minutes or more late, the obligation to use the mandatory train is canceled and it is possible to use another connection without paying a surcharge for the ticket price.

Fixed Tickets can only be purchased until the specified limit on the number of tickets (quota) is sold out. The amount of the quota is variable and is not published.
A Fixed Ticket for 2nd carriage class can be used in 1st carriage class in conjunction with a Temporary Surcharge to 1st carriage class on the In Karta, with the exception of the discounted variant for Discounted Fare, or the difference between the fare in 1st carriage class, to which the passenger proves entitlement, and the price of the presented Fixed Ticket for the entire route indicated on it can be paid. When using 1st carriage class on part of the route, a surcharge is not possible, in such a section the passenger will pay the 1st carriage class fare to which he proves entitlement.
