You can use the following services:
A transport fee for the bicycle is charged based on the number of kilometers traveled. You pay the fee directly to the conductor.
In some trains, it is also possible to use a reservation service for your bicycle, and in some trains, a reservation for the bicycle space is mandatory.

Transporting bicycles as accompanied luggage is allowed in trains marked in the timetable with a “bicycle” symbol (see the symbol overview at the end of this page), where carriages with special bicycle transport spaces are arranged. Such carriages are marked with the same symbol. Furthermore, this transport is also allowed in local trains, fast trains, express trains, higher quality express trains, and express services, if they do not declare the service of accompanied luggage transport or storage during transport (see below) - this applies to the first and last vestibule of the train set in the entrance door area, where a maximum of two bicycles can be placed, unless excluded for technological reasons or due to safety. In all cases, however, the transport of bicycles as accompanied luggage is only possible until the capacity of spaces in the train is exhausted, and the final decision whether or not another bicycle can be accepted for transport (and at what location) belongs only to the conductor of the train. In no case can bicycles be transported in trains marked in the timetable with a crossed-out bicycle symbol.
Within the transport of accompanied luggage, it is also possible to transport children's trailers for bicycles, which must be detached from the bicycle during transport, within the transport they are regarded as strollers and are transported for free.
Tandem and multi-seat bicycles cannot be transported as accompanied luggage.
The storage during transport service is provided in ČD trains, which are marked in the timetable with a suitcase symbol (possibly a suitcase in a circle or a suitcase in a frame). A service car or compartment where a bicycle or other luggage can be stored this way is also marked with the suitcase symbol.
When using the storage during transport service, you hand over your bicycle directly to a ČD employee into the designated car in the train. When getting off the train, you pick up your bicycle again from the ČD employee directly at the train. When transferring to another train, the passenger must ensure the transfer of the luggage to the next train themselves. The main advantage of the storage during transport service is that you do not need to watch over your bicycle during the ride (it is under the conductor's supervision), and you also do not need to find a seat near your bicycle. The service thus functions similarly to a left-luggage office at a station.
Before placing the bicycle in storage during transport, it is always necessary to remove all easily detachable parts.
In SC Pendolino trains, the transport of bicycles as accompanied luggage is allowed in a limited amount with a mandatory reservation of space for the bicycle.
For your worry-free train journey with a bicycle, you can secure a reservation for a bicycle space in most cases in advance, typically also with a place for you in the 2nd carriage class (the place for the passenger and the bicycle can be combined on one document). If the reservation of bicycle spaces in the train is possible, the symbol for accompanied luggage (bicycle) or storage during transport (suitcase) is in a circle, if mandatory, this symbol is in a frame. Purchase the reservation for a bicycle space (along with a seating place for the passenger or a separate space for the bicycle) in advance at a ticket counter, in the e-shop, or at the latest from the conductor of the previous train. Only in SC trains can you purchase an SC seat reservation with a reservation for a bicycle space in the same train, if such a space is still available (always consult with the conductor of the train before boarding).
The reservation for a bicycle space can be purchased in pre-sale up to 60 days in advance. The sale of reservations for trains with possible bicycle space reservation always ends 2 hours before the departure of the train from the starting station. The sale of reservations for international trains with mandatory bicycle space reservation typically ends at the time of departure of the train from its starting station. The sale of reservations for domestic trains with mandatory bicycle space reservation always ends at the time of departure of the train from the passenger's boarding station.
In addition to the mentioned reservation document, you must also have a bicycle ticket (document for the transport of a bicycle), and possibly also a paid fee for one-time storage during transport.
In the territory of the capital city of Prague, in ČD trains involved in the Prague Integrated Transport (PID), one bicycle as accompanied luggage can be transported for free with a PID travel document. In Prague, a bicycle can also be transported for free with a PID travel document by metro, tram, funicular, and ferry, the use of cycle buses is always subject to a fee.

For each transported bicycle, it is necessary to pay the price of the luggage document (the same price as for transporting accompanied luggage). The storage fee is free.

Are you going abroad? You can also take your bicycle with you on international journeys as accompanying luggage. You load the bicycle yourself into the designated area on the train, which allows for easy storage. Coaches with space for accompanying luggage are marked with a bicycle symbol. You are responsible for supervising your bike for the entire journey. It is advisable to sit in a coach near your bicycle so you can keep it in sight. When transferring, you are responsible for moving your bicycle from one train to another.
When traveling to Slovakia, you can also use the bike storage during transport service on selected trains. You load your bicycle into a specially adapted coach, where it is stored by the conductor, and then you can sit in a different coach. Coaches with the bike storage service are marked with a suitcase symbol. The conductor monitors the bicycles during the journey, and you collect your bike from them upon arrival. When transferring, you again move your bicycle from one train to another yourself.
You can travel with bicycles only on trains that offer this service.
Bicycles can be transported as accompanying luggage to the following countries: Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland (only direct long-distance trains between the Czech Republic and Poland), Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Belgium.
You can only travel with a bicycle on trains that offer bicycle transport services. In the timetable, these trains show either the accompanying luggage service (bicycle symbol) or the bike storage during transport service (suitcase symbol). For international long-distance trains, a bike reservation is usually required. Therefore, don’t forget to purchase a reservation for your bicycle when buying your tickets from Czech Railways (ČD). The requirement for a bicycle reservation is indicated in the timetable by a framed bicycle or suitcase symbol.
When traveling with a bicycle to Slovakia, you can use either the bike storage during transport service (suitcase symbol) or the accompanying luggage service (bicycle symbol). For some long-distance trains to Slovakia, a bicycle reservation is always required. Without a pre-purchased bike reservation, it is not possible to load your bike onto the train. Reservations cannot be purchased from the conductor.
As part of the Small Border Traffic agreement between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, you can transport your bicycle as accompanying luggage between selected stations on trains going to Slovakia in coaches marked with a bicycle symbol. The one-way ticket price for a bicycle on the chosen route is CZK 50. You can also purchase a return bicycle ticket from Slovakia in advance at a ČD ticket counter.
As part of special regional one-day cross-border offers (e.g. Labe-Elbe, EURO-NISA-TICKET) and Small Border Traffic offers (e.g. MPS Länderbahn, MPS EURegio) to Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Austria, bicycles can also be transported—usually as accompanying luggage.
