The voucher can be used to purchase domestic and international tickets (except OneTicket tickets), seat reservations, beds, couchettes, applications on the In Karta card, IDS tickets, to top up the ČD Kredit account. The voucher cannot be used to pay for products sold as goods. The voucher cannot be used to pay for the purchase of another voucher.
You can buy vouchers in values of 100, 200, 500 or 1000 CZK. When buying a ticket, you can also use multiple vouchers at once.
Vouchers are valid for 36 months and you can use them to pay for purchases only at the ticket counter or in the Czech Railways e-shop, not on the train. When using at the ticket counter at the end of the purchase, inform the cashier that you will be paying by voucher and hand over (dictate) the 12-digit voucher code.
When using the voucher in the ČD e-shop, enter the 12-digit voucher code in the "Apply discount code, voucher or loyalty points" field in the last step of the purchase.
Several vouchers can be used within one purchase, voucher payments can be combined with credit note payments in the e-shop and at the ticket office, and at the ticket office also with compensation documents issued on the train. If the nominal value of the vouchers used is higher than the price of the purchased travel documents, a new voucher will be issued for the overpayment amount. Its validity depends on the validity of the used voucher with the longest validity. If the value of the voucher is lower, you will pay the difference at the ticket office in cash in CZK, in the ČD e-shop by credit card or from the ČD Kredit account.
The gift voucher cannot be returned or exchanged for money. In the event of a ticket refund or the exercise of the right from the transport contract for documents paid for with vouchers, we will not pay you cash, but we will issue you a new voucher. When exercising the right from the transport contract at the ticket counter, the cashier will only accept the ticket you want to return and, if the conditions for processing are met, the cashier system will issue a new voucher on the spot. If the conditions for on-site processing are not met, it will be forwarded for processing to the central clearing house, which will subsequently issue you a new voucher for the recognized refund. In the ČD e-shop, you will receive a new voucher by e-mail together with a corrective tax document. You can find more detailed information about exercising the right from the transport contract in the ČD Contractual Transport Conditions (ČD SPPO).
