Example of using a Weekend Group Ticket

The Weekend Group Ticket is ideal for family outings and traveling with friends. You can use it to explore the Czech Republic, go on an adventure, visit friends, aunts or grandmothers, simply wherever our trains go. Traveling by train has several advantages, you don't have to think about where to park, you are not bothered by ice or traffic jams on the road. What's more, you save time that you would otherwise spend driving. You will appreciate this not only you, but also your children and friends.

A Saturday trip from Olomouc to Prague and back will not burden your wallet if you travel with a Weekend Group Ticket. For example, 2 adults and 3 children under 15 can comfortably travel by train there and back on a Weekend Group Ticket and pay a total of only CZK 999. That's only CZK 99.90 per person one way!

On Saturday you can take a train trip from Prague to Kutná Hora. After visiting the city, you can continue by local train to Zruč nad Sázavou. After a walking trip along the Sázava, you can, for example, get back on the train in Kácov, which will take you back to Prague (with a transfer in Čerčany). One Weekend Group Ticket for the Central Bohemian Region for CZK 449 is enough for the whole trip. When the whole family travels - e.g. 2 adults and 2 children under 15, the entire train journey of 193 km will cost one person less than CZK 113!
