Pensioners under 65

Are you a pensioner and not yet 65? Pensioners under 65 are not included in the discounted fare, for them we offer the purchase of an In Karta with the IN 50 D (pensioner) discount application. The IN 50 D application is intended for persons under 65 who receive an old-age pension or persons over 60 who receive a widow's or widower's pension. With the IN 50 D application, you buy tickets with a 50% discount on the address fare in both 2nd and 1st class.

The ticket cannot be used for intra-regional journeys by passenger trains (Os) and fast trains (Sp) in the Zlín, Pilsen, South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions.

Conditions of Discounted fare for passengers aged 65 and over

All passengers over the age of 65 can buy tickets with a 50% discount on the price of a Flexi ticket, Flexi discounted ticket, Fixed ticket or Route ticket for 2nd class. The discount can be used on all Czech Railways trains. When checking tickets, you must prove your age to the conductor with an identity card or other officially or carrier-issued document that includes a photograph, first name, surname and date of birth. An ID card is therefore sufficient for discounted travel. Without proof of age, it is not possible to use the 50% discount.

The price of the Discounted fare depends on the tariff distance. The tariff distance is determined for the actual transport route between railway stations according to the kilometers stated in the timetable of the railway operator and is at least 1 kilometer and a maximum of 600 kilometers.
